Padel comes to Cahir, with Coláiste Dún Iascaigh.
Two outdoor courts are coming to Cahir, in partnership with Coláiste Dún Iascaigh on the Cashel Road, opening summer 2026. Building with a school puts the courts at the centre of the community: pupils by day, the wider town beyond. It’s the Padel 100 model in miniature, shared space, free access, and a brand-new sport brought to a town that’s never had it.
When they open, the courts run from early morning to late evening, with Free Hours every weekday from 11am to 3pm, no cost, no membership, open to all. Whether you’ve played before or you’re new to the game, you’ll be welcome here.
